Accessibility
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Harmony Family Care is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Many of the families and clients we serve rely on assistive technology, so accessibility matters to us well beyond legal compliance.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone.
What We've Built In
- Semantic page structure and heading levels for screen readers
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive elements throughout the site
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
- Strong color contrast and large, easy-to-read type sized for an older-skewing audience
- Large tap targets and click-to-call links, designed mobile-first
Known Limitations
This website has not yet been through a formal, independent accessibility audit. If you encounter a page or feature that's difficult to use with assistive technology, we want to know so we can fix it.
Third-Party Content
Some pages embed third-party content, such as the Google Maps embed on our Find Care page, which we don't control and can't guarantee meets the same accessibility standard.
